New Blood is the annual student festival of performance, live art and time-based work at SAIC. For the past eight years, New Blood has been produced in partnership with and at Links Hall. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, New Blood XIV took on a new form. Artists were invited to create performances in SAIC’s public facing windows at 37 S. Wabash in the Sharp Building and at 33 E. Washington the location of the new SAIC Galleries. This reimagined festival contained durational performance work over three days in both windows simultaneously.
